Reformation Day Chant Vespers

Join us on Saturday, Oct. 31, for a special Reformation celebration service, using the traditional music of western Christendom: Gregorian chant. An explanation of the service will begin at 3:30 (optional), and the service itself starts at 4:00. If you have the Brotherhood Prayer Book, please bring it.

Martin Luther posted the 95 theses for debate on indulgences on Oct. 31, 1517. This event ignited the Reformation that led to the purification of the teaching and practice of the church in Germany then, and now throughout the world. We thank God for the pure preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that has come down to us from the Reformation!
